About Suncatcher Eyes
Why did you create Suncatcher Eyes?
Suncatcher Eyes were created because I could not find the colors and styles of
safety eyes that I wanted in craft stores for my crocheted dolls.
Why are they called Suncatcher Eyes?
They are called Suncatcher Eyes because they have the beautiful color and transparency of suncatchers in a sunny window.
Who makes Suncatcher Eyes?
Suncatcher eyes are created by one person (that's me, Michelle
McLaughlin). You may also see me online as ChezMichelle.
How are Suncatcher Eyes made?
Each
Suncatcher Eye is painted by hand and then polished to give it a nice
shine. I am a perfectionist, and I hope that shows in my
creations.
What kind of paint is used on Suncatcher Eyes?
Suncatcher Eyes are painted with completely nontoxic, waterbased, and lead-free paints.
Are Suncatcher Eyes safe for kids?
Suncatcher
Eyes are made with acrylic safety eyes that are rated safe for children
ages 3 and up. They are painted with nontoxic, waterbased,
and
lead-free paints. I do not use nail polish or any paints
containing acetate, acetone, lead, or xylene.
Are Suncatcher Eyes washer and dryer safe?
Yes
they are! I would recommend cold or warm wash and air drying any
items that have Suncatcher Eyes, but they were tested vigorously
through numerous washings and dryings.

orders out within one day of order.
